Terms and Conditions – Smiles & Sparkles

By booking a service with Smiles & Sparkles, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Agreement

Smiles & Sparkles provides face painting, balloon twisting, and children’s entertainment services across Brisbane and surrounding areas. All bookings must be confirmed in writing, including event details, time, location, and the type of service requested.

2. Payments

Full payment is due before or on the day of the event, as agreed. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or other approved options.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. If the event is rescheduled due to weather conditions, a $90 rescheduling fee may apply to compensate the professional’s time and availability.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client must ensure:

A shaded or covered area is available for the artist, especially in case of sun or rain.
Nearby parking is provided if free public parking is not accessible.
Children have clean, dry skin before face painting.
Adult supervision is maintained during the entertainment service.

5. Use of Photos and Videos

Photos and videos may be taken only with verbal consent from the child’s guardian. Smiles & Sparkles reserves the right to use approved content for promotional purposes. No image will be published without express authorisation.

6. Professional Conduct

Our staff adheres to high standards of professionalism, hygiene, punctuality, and respect. It is strictly forbidden for artists to promote personal businesses or display materials/logos from other companies during their event.

7. Hygiene and Safety

All tools and equipment are sanitised before each event. Hand sanitiser is used before and after painting each child. We do not paint on irritated, wounded, or allergic skin..

8. Emergencies and Replacements

In case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to provide a backup professional or alternative solution to ensure your event continues smoothly.
